A live pioneer New Zealand history show
Wood chopping and log sawing
Sheep shearing, farm dogs working and a dancing pig!

Waitomo Big Bird Petting Farm
Allow 1 hour
Animal therapy for all ages. Kids colouring and info sheet.
Interactive and educational experience with Ostriches and miniature animals (Alpaca, Kune Kune Pigs, Donkeys and Highlands)
Rooster Crow tour 8am – 10am with Ostrich omelette breakfast (additional cost). Bookings essential

Waitomo Farm Stays Horse Rides
Perfect for children or adults wanting a short ride around for a "horse experience".
A 20 minute supervised ride around the property with lots of other farm animals and gardens to see.

Otorohanga Kiwi House & Native Bird Park
View active kiwi throughout the day (New Zealand’s national bird). Rare Great Spotted Kiwi, Little Spotted Kiwi and Brown Kiwi on display in a night time setting

Get up close and personal with a large collection of unique NZ birds and reptiles.
Walk through New Zealand's largest free-flight dome aviary
See the unique tuatara, a native New Zealand reptile, which pre-dated the dinosaurs
